On 15 March the General Meeting of the LBA unanimously elected Dr. Hans-Werner Gassner as the new Chairman of the LBA. Gassner will begin his term as LBA Chairman on 1 June 2017. Press release

By signing the ICMA quality charter for private wealth management in December 2012, the Liechtenstein banks have committed themselves to applying the highest international quality and professionalism standards when providing their services. As part of this, they have committed to placing the highest value on the professional competence, loyalty and integrity of their employees and to always motivate their employees to peak performance as well as to provide them with suitable education and advanced training possibilities.
This year saw the publication of the first ESG report on equity funds in Liechtenstein. The aim of the report is to provide improved information relating to ESG criteria available on the range of equity funds in Liechtenstein and their quality. Strategy Roadmap 2020 a boost to the banking centre
Following the recent adoption of the strategy, the so-called Roadmap 2020, the Liechtenstein Bankers Association has presented the Roadmap in detail at a press conference today in Vaduz.

At the beginning of July construction will start on the new nursery for the Liechtenstein banks. Under the umbrella of the Bankers Association, "Villa Wirbelwind" will be created at Äulestrasse 46 in Vaduz - a modern care facility for children of employees at the banking centre. The nursery will be opened in the summer of 2017. Press release
